HELP!…recently downloaded 7.8(7.8.0.0034) version of Logos.
When I installed, software opened on MacBook screen, it flashed the layout
briefly for about 2-3 seconds and then crashed.
I’ve tried everything I know to no avail…even deleting Logos and tried to reinstall
but then something strange happens.
I get the Logos Icon on Dock with black dot as if it was running but it will not open to layout.
Tried going back to earlier version after deleting everything but no use.
Can someone help me out; need my bible software running.

even deleting Logos and tried to reinstall

That is rarely a fix. If the software has a bug, reinstalling will simply reinstall the bug. More likely the problem lies in a data file, which isn't deleted when you simply trash the app.

Have you tried restarting your computer? Have you tried opening the app via the applications folder (rather than the doc)? If those don't work, Please enable and post logs. See my signature line for instructions.

Logos support has => What to do if Logos Crashes

Tried going back to earlier version after deleting everything but no use.

Logos has application support files, which have internal version. Once the Logos application has updated the version in the application support files, older Logos applications are no longer usable.
