Logos 7 Hang

When I open Logos, the update wheel spins constantly and the welcome screen doesn't load. I also tried opening a sermon and starting a new sermon, and neither loaded the content.

There was a hang for 1.5 min when trying to sync Preferences:-

There was an earlier time out, so check your internet connection. If that is OK then get in touch with Customer Services.

I don't know if you already solved this or if you're having the same problem I did, but here's how mine was solved, hopefully it will help you.
I went to the Report a Problem (Mac) page and opened a chat window. A rep helped me and all we had to do was go to the Activity Monitor and force quit Verbum AND the Verbum indexer from there, not any other way, must be through Activity Monitor. Then I restarted Verbum and everything was fine.
