Do I lose the individual books I own that a part of a larger set when I buy the whole set from anoth

i bought several hermemneia commentaris over the years and now am considering acquiring the whole set from another user who is selling it. Will I lose the individual books that I've purchased from logos when I transfer the whole set from another user, or wil I still own the licenses for the individual books I payed for?

No, after transfer of whole set is complete, you would have two license(s) for each individual book you purchased. After download is done, your library would have one whole set.

For clarification: If the user owns the whole set, and that is what you are acquiring, you will end up with 1) a license for the entire set and 2) individual licenses for the books you owned prior to the acquisition of the set. HOWEVER: If you were to purchase the set from Logos, using "dynamic pricing," then the individual licenses get swallowed up into the set.

By retaining the individual licenses, he could then sell the individual Hermeneia volumes he had purchased. Just a guess.

You should keep a list of which resources those are... It will be difficult to determine which resources you have multiple licenses for... there isn't a good way to know otherwise. Also, it is in the best interest of the purchaser to buy all of them at once. There is a $20 (US Currency) charge for each transaction... where a "transaction" can include one book or a thousand from a single user to another single user.
