I already have the 5 volume by the same author, and had this one selected on pre-pub but had to cancel the order.

I had this on pre-pub for about $13, but had to cancel for the same reason at the time (money). Now the cost of this is outrageous.

I did "A Day in Capernaum." I really enjoy background stuff, and the format seems like a neat way to internalize it.
I discovered Campbell Morgan on the list and plan on getting his preaching/commentary resources as monthly free books for the foreseeable future starting this month.

I'm trying to pick up Machen on Paul's religion, but the code isn't working.

Not much over the 5 volume. If I had to buy it, I wouldn't after having the 5 volume (1 resource). I thought it would be more concise (to be used on mobile app), but it is not for most of the articles, as a lot of the articles span more that 1 page.
I do think that it is a good dictionary for those who do not have the 5 volume work. If looking for a very concise dictionary, look at others.
Same author, but the articles have different wording.
Perhaps the most influential book in my entire life. Read it a number of times (5-6+) and impacted signficantly in my holiness and love for my Savior everytime. I named my second son after Owen (David Owen Hantla) primarily because of the impact that this volume has had on me
Read it and enjoy it.
One hint: Try to outline it as you go in order to follow Owen's train of thought. This is very very helpful with any puritan and especially John Owen.
