Can my wife and I use a workbook when she doesn't have a FL account?
mm.
I'm not sure I understand your question, but I'll give it a stab.
If those don't answer your question, please try again.

You can only have one set of answers for a workbook attached to a single account.
I have a FL account. My wife does not. Can she download the free engine and open the same book (without buying it) that I bought and the both of us read, fill in the blanks etc., at the same time?
Or, We want to go thru the same workbook, but can we both use it at the same time when she doesn't have a FL account. ???
can we edit that? For example: can the edited part be high lighted, bolded, etc.?

As I answered above, no. No one can open a resource for which they don't own a license (excepting "free to use" resources).
I'm not sure how this differs from your previous question, but again, no.
This may be an instance where Logos Cloud may offer a low cost solution.

I believe it is doable but not easily... she would need to have your account installed on a computer.. then that device would need to work offline always.. allowing her to fill in blanks and NOT be synced to yours. I know this is less than ideal but really the only way that it works... so have to make sure her computer is never on line or that she starts the program with the command key (I think its control on windows) which gives you the option work offline. I know this is not great but it is the only way for the two of you to fill out things differently in a work book because in fact you have one copy of the book, technically it is illegal to share it, but with fair use this is a grey area has been stated that a non vocational spouse and minor children residing at home may use the Logos account with Faithlife's blessing... This never means you own more than one copy just that this is their legal interpretation of fair use.

EDIT: Setting her preferences to never use the internet should be simpler.
Low cost in that gives her access to resources but would most definitely require additional purchase of the same resource.
Another solution would be to create a "printed" copy, 100 pages at a time, and save as MS Word. Make two copies - one for you and one for your wife. Fill them in on paper or using MS Word using a compatible product.
I can think of two alternatives (given what has already been written here):
(I don't have a workbook in Logos that can accept direct input, so I'm not sure if the second option will work. But I can't think of why it wouldn't.)
What I would recommend for this is that you both use the same account and assign a color to each person. Then you highlight in your color and she is hers. Notes can be taken (or answers given as a note) and each note is simply indicated with the person's color. This way you can each see what the other one is doing and differentiate your answers. You also don't have to buy separate resources. Utilizing this method, she can actually get full use of your Logos digital library.

Brilliant! [Y]
Perhaps create a separate highlight pallete with rules unique to her... this will allow her to have her own note file And the ability to turn either on or off at will.
Great, thanks guys. Got it all settled now.
