Percentage Read Implementation & Functionality

Can anybody help me with a few questions about the "percentage read" feature in Logos?
a) When was it implemented? Month and year that it was included in an official public release (not beta) would be nice, but I'd settle for just the year.
b) The percentage doesn't reset when Logos releases an update for a given resource, does it?
c) Have improvements to the algorithm that produces the percentage number improved its accuracy as a real-world indication of how much of a resource the user has actually read?

It was released with Logos 6.0b on Jan 14th, 2015.

Correct - it is not reset.

I might leave that to Faithlife, but I doubt it has been improved (or can be!).

Depending how you work, it can successfully miss 90% of your workflow. I haven't checked if it tracks the multiviewer.
