Right Click Menu is blank

Using 7.8.0 on my MacBook Pro. All OS are fully updated. Just updated Logos over the weekend, but this is the first time to use it. When I right click on a word the tip window opens, but it is blank and never populates.

I'm out of town traveling. I just now got online. Logos will not open at all now. The synchronizing window just has a happy time spinning and spinning. It is totally unresponsive to clicking on the exit now button. Any suggestions would be helpful. However, I'm leaving my room soon and will not be back for about 4 hours.

Restart your computer, enable logging, post logs.

Sorry, I'm dense and you are cryptic. I looked at your signature line and saw nothing which indicated its useful. Frankly I'm pretty basic, spell it out or find some one else. I'm on a time crunch, Logos isn't working, I am busy on a trip all day the next three days and you are not helping.

I'm not being cryptic, but it is ok if you don't understand. My "signature line" is immediately underneath what you are reading right now. There are three links. One says "Mac Logs." If you click on it, you will be taken to the same page of instructions that you would if you clicked here: https://www.logos.com/support/mac/report-problem
I can understand your frustration, but there is no need to be rude, especially to volunteers who are trying to help. If you need help from Faithlife and are in a hurry, you will need to call customer service during business hours. Otherwise there are many here willing to lend a hand.
Since you mentioned that you are a "basic, spell it out" guy, let me tell you why you need to provide logs: we don't know what is going on with your computer. Logs will help the techies figure it out. I am half techie. I probably won't be able to get you going. If you want to wait for a techie, be my guest. The first thing they will ask you to do is to post logs.

Reviewing a number of miscellaneous threads, it appears to me that something is going on, at least for some segment of the Mac population. Your issue may or may not be related. Personally, I haven't experienced any problems. Another user reported back what he was told. Although you should always be careful not to take someone else's medicine, I think this would be a fairly safe thing to try. Please do so and report back. NOTE: replace "Verbum" with "Logos" in the instructions.

I went to the Report a Problem (Mac) page and opened a chat window. A rep helped me and all we had to do was go to the Activity Monitor and force quit Verbum AND the Verbum indexer from there, not any other way, must be through Activity Monitor. Then I restarted Verbum and everything was fine.

Thanks, it now opened and for now is working. I did nothing different. I had already rebooted the system about 6 times and this time Logos opened. I have not had a problem with Logos in years so terms like "logs" and "enabling logging" are terms I have not heard in about 8 or 9 years and so am not familiar with them. I rarely get on the forums. When everything works, it works. So these are probably not terms and procedures with which I, and probably many newbies, are familiar. So it just appeared to be meaningless, cryptic jargon. Meant a lot to you, but not to me. Thanks for the help, I may need more if this crashes soon.
