Another Notes problem...Attempting text selection shoots note document to the top of the page

I'm reporting this issue in the Logos 7 forum, even though I'm using the beta, as this has been an issue that has been on going for quite some time, and is not tied to the beta releases, in my opinion.
When I am using the notes, and attempt to select text, the document jumps to the top. No matter how slowly I attempt to select the text, once I get to the last character, closest to the edge of the note, the window jumps to the top of the page.
Please fix this. It is very frustrating.

I've also had this issue - even when selecting just one line.
I changed the direction (left to right) of my highlighting and it seems to help.

It is best to report it in the Beta forum, then (we are not expected to judge/know whether a bug is new to a beta release).
But what OS are you using?

Yes, that helps. It's just counterintuitive to the way one takes notes, thus I always forget to do that. I mean, after I type or paste, the natural thing to do is to start where the cursor is and select text upward from there.

I am pretty sure I have had this issue where I have migrated off of betas for a time. That's why I am relatively sure it is not a beta-related issue. However, if you feel it best, please move this to the beta forum. I respect your wisdom in this area.
Joshua, are you on a beta?

Mac OS 10.12.6, latest Sierra. The Notes issues usually seem to be on Mac devices.

I agree that it's counterintuitive.
I'm on 10.12.6 Sierra, Logos Bible Software 7.8 SR-1 7.8.0.0037.

Hi Myke,
Thanks for reporting this. I was out on vacation so I didn't see this earlier. I'll let the team know.

Thanks for your reports, everyone. This is a known issue which we'll address in a future update to Notes.
