Kenneth Gentry and David Chilton
I was very happy to see FL offer Kenneth Gentry's books on prepub. One of the reviewers said he couldn't wait to see Gentry's commentary on Revelation.
David Chilton, who is of like mind, has written such a commentary, The Days of Vengeance. I have only read I think one other commentary cover to cover, but I couldn't put this thing down. He constantly references Josephus to show how the events in Revelation were described in Josephus pertaining to the Jewish War of 70AD.
If you think you know prophecy, read Chilton. And Gentry.

I have started buying physical books again. I have sent pages and pages of suggestions of books, but Logos is only focusing on new books it seems. I read Chilton's commentary on Revelation straight through. And I highlighted all his references to Josephus in my Josephus collection. It seems we can't rely on Logos for all our study needs.

Books written in the pre-internet age are the hardest to get into Logos. During that period contracts between publishers and authors weren't drawn up with eBooks in mind. That means, in most cases, publishers have to sign new contracts with authors before they can sign contracts with Faithlife. Often the publishers don't consider that a priority, or have lost touch with the authors. Sometimes they don't want to sign a new contract, because doing so would place additional obligations on them which they may not want.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Thank you for your explanation. I've been with Logos for maybe 10 years. I was able to get a lot of older books before. How old does a book have to be to become public domain?
I'm sure Logos has their hands full as it is. I've been buying books seriously for almost 50 years. The second floor of my house is full. Younger scholars just don't know the older scholars or think that newer books are usually better than older ones.

Generally speaking: the author has to be dead for 70 years on Jan 1, i.e. for this year: he/she died in 1948 or earlier

I, too, had to buy Chilton's commentary in print. The preterist position is poorly represented in Logos (resource wise), which is why it really should be prioritized.

Gentry's commentary on Revelation looks like it will be released in the next couple months too. This will be a NEW book. Hopefully, you are correct.

I have had the print edition and the PDF from freebooks (Gary Norths Site). http://www.garynorth.com/freebooks/sidefrm2.htm Presently I am spending time getting Chiltons commentary into a word doc.
A very slow process. Anyone got some of the books from this site in word format to share? Anybody know of a program (free or not so free) that will transfer the books on Norths site into word so I can make personal books of the things that Faith life will not get into "print" in my life time?
