Cannot make note references

Hi all, im following the 10 day bible study challenge and the first task is to select a passage, right click, and then click reference and add note.

however when I right click on a highlighted passage. I do not get any such options

I only have the options as shown in the attachment.

Im using logos 7 basic

any help?

Did you use the paper clip to attach the image?

as you can see, when I right click on a passage i am not presented with the options that I should be presented with.

Screen shot showing left side change in pop-up (from Right Click) after clicking reference on right side:

Right Click has many options in pop-up dialog so clicking on any of the first three lines on the right side causes corresponding left side options to change, which includes "Add a note to"
