I had my passage guide opened to a passage of Scripture. I saw in my personal notes a quote I pulled from a commentary, and I needed to find that book and text again. I could do a search and type some text or I could go to my library and search the author's list of books. I realized the easiest way would have been if the passage guide gave a little more information in its book titles.
For example, under commentaries, I have almost 200 commentaries on John listed in the passage guide, and most of them have very similar titles, like The Gospel of John. A few of them have the series the book is from. That is very helpful, but trying to find a particular author can be time consuming.
So I suggest that book titles in, say the passage guide ideally should include author and the series it is in, if it is in one.
