Taking notes on my Tablet
I take lots of notes during my morning devotions using the Logos web app. There is an option on the edit screen to choose between a Private tab and a Community tab as well as a slider switch labeled "Attach to reference". I have always attached my notes to the reference and when I have done so the app automatically switches me to the Private tab. That's all I've ever used until today when I decided to experiment with the community note choice. So, my question is this:
How are community notes used? What makes them different from my regular notes?

Private notes are just available to you whereas Community Notes are shared with people in a Faithlife Group of which you are a member.
(If you aren't familiar with Faithlife groups they are basically virtual groups where Faithlife customers can collaborate together and share documents including notes).
When you create a Community Note you specify the Faithlife Group to associate them with and then everyone who is a member of that group will see that note when they are looking at that reference.

Ok, so I have a lot of private notes that I would like to change to community notes. How do I do that with the Android app?

Im not aware of any mechanism to change a private note to a community one.
I think you could share the Notes Document containing the Notes which could then be made visible to others.

John, you can go to https://documents.logos.com/ to share private documents with Faithlife group. Just click on the document you would like to share, then click "action", and select either "publish" or "collaborate". Once you select an option, you will be prompted to select which Faithlife group you would like to share that document with.
