BUG: Add Note by Selection - reference not hyperlinked

All notes were created from ESV
EDIT: I get the same result if a note is added from a commentary or lexicon
1. Create a Note file in 4.0c (desktop)
- add a Note by Selection - reference is not hyperlinked
- view in 4.0b - reference is hyperlinked
- add a Note by Selection in 4.0b - reference is hyperlinked
- view in 4.0c - reference is not hyperlinked
2. Create a Note file in 4.0b (desktop)
- add a Note by Selection - reference is hyperlinked
- view in 4.0c - reference is not hyperlinked
- add a Note by Selection in 4.0c - reference is not hyperlinked
- view in 4.0b - reference is hyperlinked
- add a Note by Reference in 4.0c - reference is hyperlinked
- view in 4.0b - reference is hyperlinked
NOTE file in 4.0c Beta 2
NOTE file in 4.0b SR-1

Hyperlinks are not produced when a bible reference is entered as Content or as the Title of a new note (from Add note button).

I confirm that in L4c beta 2, references are not hyperlinked when creating a note by selection.

I cannot reproduce this problem. For me, in 4.0c beta 2, the Bible references are always produced whether they are in the content or the title of a new note (from Add Note).

Correction: it demands the first letter of the book be UPPER case and have correct syntax eg. not jn 4.5 but Jn 4.5. But it recognises 1 Jn 5:1 as Jn 5:1

I confirm Dave's observation. When I use lower case letters, the reference does not automatically become a hyperlink. This is true even in the content of notes created in other ways (create note by reference, create note by selection, add note button).

This is fixed and will be included in the next beta. See http://community.logos.com/forums/p/14933/114296.aspx#114296 for more.

The other bug here is recognition of typed references.

Add note by selection - reference is now hyperlinked in beta 3.

Typed references is not fixed in beta 3 as per wiki http://wiki.logos.com/Bug$3a_Typed_References_not_being_recognised_in_Notes

You need to change the status of the bug in the wiki back to pending or they won't look at it again, since they've probably marked it fixed in their internal database. Maybe also add a note to the effect that this is a regression or the whole bug wasn't properly fixed.

I've reported this regression, thanks.
Edit: Actually, the only references I saw a problem in were with '1-3 John'. All other books with numbers in front, such as 1 Peter, etc., work as expected.

That is the only problem provided the first letter of the book is UPPER case. If lower case it will not produce a hyperlink when corrected - you have to re-enter the passage.

References that begin with a lower-case letter have never been recognized. This has been suggested, and may change in the future.

According to development, "case sensitivity has always been this way for Logos 4." This was because reference hyperlink detection was primarily written for tagging in Book content, where it is considered a typo if a book says 'john 1:1'. A request has been submitted to consider making hyperlink auto-detection case insensitive, to match LDLS 3.

Thanks for the feedback, Melissa.
I queried it because case-insensitive works elsewhere in L4 eg. in the text input boxes of Search and bible resources.
