Time Required to Open and Complete

Just recently, I have a noticed, that it takes several minutes to complete the loading my workspace for Mt 24. It was loading much faster. I have completed a Disk Utility -'Repair Disk Permissions' w/o any help. I also notice thsat my Book Pro gets very hot trying to open the file. I just tried to open another workspace Rm 8 and it too is taking several minutes to complete! Anyone else having this problem. Several minutes = 10+ I stop watching the pinwheels after 10 minutes.

Yes. This is a known issue when running a passage search from the home page. We're working with the Windows team to speed it up.

If you collapse the Biblical people, places and things sections in the passage guide until you need them things should speed up.

Is there a way of collapsing these before they've loaded up. This feels like a lit of a 'catch-22' situation ...

All I did was go away and have a nice cup of herbal tea. [C] When I came back the wheel had stopped spinning and I collapsed Biblical People and Biblical Places. If I really want them I can open them individually and they don't take long. Just remember to collapse them again before closing.

I would prefer a good strong mug of Java, but my doctor has banned me from caffeine drinks (coffee and tea), so it's got to be herbal for me. [:(]
