How to Create a Note File from a Passage List?

Hi Folks:

I  have several passage lists that have ALOT of biblical references on them.   I am trying to figure out if it is possible to convert or automate the process of creating a note file from a passage list  (the idea being that I would then add a specific note to each biblical reference that is brought over from the passage list.

I see that Logos 7 notes have an option to create a passage list from the note file, but I want to go the other direction without having to manually copy every biblical verse into the note file.

Thanks,

Matthew

I see that Logos 7 notes have an option to create a passage list from the note file, but I want to go the other direction without having to manually copy every biblical verse into the note file.

It's not possible to automate the process.

You can use each passage in the List to open your bible and right click to create a Note from the Context menu. This way you can create a note by Reference or from selected text.

You can get a slight improvement in the manual process. Open the Passage List. Then click the "Open all" button at the top of the panel. This will open a filtered view of your Bible showing just the passages in the list, which should make it easier to go down the list and add notes to each by right clicking.

Thank you Dave and Andrew for the help.  I'll try Andrew's trick of  opening all of them and then adding a note to each....

I recently purchased the Logos 7 teaching materials from Learnlogos.com and there is a lot to learn [:)]

That is very good training. You won't be disappointed!
