Mouseover no longer displays cross-references
When I hover over a cross-reference (or note) link at app.logos.com (while reading one of the Bibles), the pointer changes to a hand with an extended finger, but the pop-up box containing the verse no longer appears, regardless of how long I leave the pointer hovering. If I click the link, the 5 dots in the box above go through their consecutive blinking as if the app is gathering information but nothing is ever displayed and the dots never stop their blinking.
The same thing happens when hovering over a link in a commentary.
I should add that the app works as expected when hovering over other things, such as tabs, etc. Also, hovering over links at biblia.com works as expected, that is, the site displays whatever information is associated with the link.
My platform is Windows 10 using Microsoft Edge. (btw, using Firefox made no difference.)
Can anyone advise?
TIA,
Jerry

Sorry, I see the same. Cursor pointer changes to hand with index finger, but no pop-up appears. First I thought it might be a pop-up blocker, but after explicitly disabling that, pop-ups still don't work for me in bibles or other books, for footnote indicators or linked bible verses (double clicking the latter works to open the reference in the second tab, though).
I'm running Chrome browser on Win 10.

This loss of functionality began for me about two weeks ago. The cross references/foot notes use to "pop up" when I clicked or hovered over them before, but stopped. I can't even access then at all anymore, no matter how much I click them.
I've confirmed this problem on Chrombook as well.

Looks like this problem has been fixed as of this morning--at least for me!

Yes, it has been! A developer caught it really quickly and fixed the issue.

Perhaps my issue is different since it has not been remedied and I have experienced this for some time. I have searched help resources and not been able to find the setting for this.
It used to be that hovering over a scripture reference in an article would pop up that Bible passage.
Now I get a commentary or reference work.
How can I get Logos 7 to revert back to just a scripture reading of that reference?

You mention Logos 7. Are you using the desktop application? Just checking as this thread is about the web-based app

In either case it sounds like a prioritisation issue - and you need to ensure that you have a Bible as your highest prioritised resource
The help file talks about this and there is some detailed information on the wiki

Oh thanks so much. That did it!
I apologize for posting in the wrong thread. I did not realize this was web only, but landed here after searching the forum. You are kind.

Strangely, this issue now appears to be "resource specific" rather than general or universal like it was for a while: When I do a "Passage Guide" on a verse in the Revelation, my resource "Revelation: Verse by Verse" by Osborne doesn't even appear, although my other resources do.
When I manually open Revelation: Verse by Verse, the verses and hyperlinks don't work. The verses, footnotes, and hyperlinks work in my other resources.

Strange. No issue for me (fwiw: running Chrome on Win10)

Scott, I am able to access the hyperlinks as well. Are you having issues with your Chromebook again, or another device?
