Indexer keeps crashing

I just installed Logos 4 on my PC yesterday. Since than it has never managed to complete indexing, though I've tried several times. So I ran a log of what was happening. Here are my logs.

Don't be distracted by my signature. This is not for my Mac setup; it's for my PC.

"Some kind of disk I/O error occurred" - so it might be an idea to check the hard drive (chkdsk).

It was indexing LHI or Lexham Hebrew-English Interlinear but that finished and the library index had been deleted, which leaves no obvious workaround if the hard drive is OK.

I had the same problem after the update. I called L4 and a second level tech, by the name of Mike, took over and I believe he deleted the supplemental index files. After doing that, it worked great.

If one of the guys can either add to this or even walk you through that, it may resolve your problem.

Carried out a chkdsk which revealed no problems. If anyone can tell me where to find the supplementary index, I'll delete it and take it from there.

I'm not sure where the supplemental index files are stored, but until someone can answer that question (I'd like to know too, for future reference!), you could try typing "rebuild index" in the command line, as that should force the same complete index rebuild that deleting the supplemental index files would lead to.

Just delete all files in the folder C:\Documents and Settings\Alan Macgregor\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\2pdecifs.qy0\LibraryIndex
