Use of Libronix Digital Library

Dear Sir

I have the Logos bible on my PC. Ihad also loaded it onto my laptop whcih crashed. I now have a new laptop but I am not being allowed to load the system on to my laptop. I would appreciate some assistance and advice. I have had it for only two years.

What operating system are you using? Are you signed in as administrator when you try to load the system? What error message are you getting when you try to load?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am signed in as an administrator because that is what comes up hwen the DVD starts to run but then it is asking for a password and I type in the product key that I received with the DVD but it is not accepting that password. I do not know what is the administrator password.

I have just tried again and the message that I am getiting is Erro 1925, you do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation. Your help in this matter would be much appreciated.

I cannot find this message on the Logos Knowledge base. However, the message sounds like you are not signed into your operating system as the administrator. What operating system are you using? I'm heading off so I hope someone else will pick up this thread to walk you through it. But if they do not, do a search on "privileges" and "administrator" in the help of your operating system and see if you can follow it from there.

If you have just replaced an older laptop with a Windows XP operating system with a new laptop with a new Windows 7 operating system then you could be suffereing from the problem that the version of Libronix on your DVD is not going to work with the new operating system. The solution to this would be to download and install the most recent version of Libronix from the Logos web site, then transfer your licenses from your desktop to the laptop, then place the DVD in the drive so it can install your licensed books. You can then update any revised copies of those books using the Update Resources link below:

First to get the most recent version of Libronix to install : http://www.logos.com/support/downloads/ldls

Then after restoring your license and installing your current copies of your books from the DVD, to update your books to the latest revisions, use the following link: http://www.logos.com/media/update/ResourceAutoUpdate.lbxupd
