I checked out the two volume set on Amazon and it runs $4.99 in Kindle format. This is one of those seems too good to be true situations. My curiosity may win out, just to see if it is navigable as a stand alone ebook vs. being part of the Logos installation. Google sells it for $70.39 in ebook format which makes the Logos price look better.

Keep in mind too that it is a commentary with a lot of references to other scholarship, so it has those active links, as well as the links to primary source material and other tagging.

Seems that $58 is not that far from the Logos price. If a 4,99 kindle edition was real, maybe this was a special offer for one day only or so.

I am not sure how it would navigate in Kindle since it is arranged by book, chapter and verse. Unless they have done a great job with the TOC and chapter links.

The tagging in this set is very minimal to the point the authors for each section are almost always wrong.. and i have yet to see a book referenced tagged. That said it is a wonderful set.

I wanted this in Logos, but currently could not get, even at the sale price. The 4.99 Kindle price is real and I grabbed it (thanks for pointing it out). I will say that it is definitely formatted differently (at least in the Kindle version) than I'm accustomed to. It's kind of hard to navigate. Maybe this is because I am so used to reading commentaries in Logos. All in all, the 4.99 Kindle version can't be beat, even if you feel it was a waste. I would still prefer to have it in Logos, but the cost would have to come way way down on this one.

I prefer reading any book in Logos. I love the fact that i can just hover over bible references and read them instead of glossing over them in Kindle. I'm PCA and Sproul,Horton, Keller, and Koukl(not PCA but apologist) are my main "mentors".

Bibles, Commentaries, Encyclopedias, etc. in Logos and the Logos Mobile App. Non-Reference type books, I read in Logos and Vyrso. I use Kindle primarily for the free books that are not in Logos format. Getting the Fortress Commentary of the Bible set in Kindle was a rare occasion. Hard to pass up the 4.99 price for something I really had on Logos wish list for a long time.
