Ok, so thoughts on comparing the Zondervan Biblical Theology set (4 vol) with the IVP Biblical Theology set (5 vol). Comparisons and contrasts? Strengths and weaknesses?
Thanks!

That is one tough choice. I have heard good things about Waltke's Old Testament theology in Zondervan and I have heard good things about Goldingay's Old Testament theology in IVP. And I would love to read both. I am looking forward to the answers you get. But with those two choices alone, I don't see how you could loose either way. Wish I could afford both.
I have only used Goldingay's Old Testament theology and it is good... I generally mesh pretty good with Goldingay's writing style and theological viewpoint. So I can only speak to his works. Waltke is a most capable author too but for myself I would tend to gravitate more to the IVP because of Goldingay.
