recording external quotes - your suggestions needed

I read a lot (print books, blogs, internet articles, etc.) and find a lot of great quotes that I would like to save and use later in my messages and or books.  I would also love to share them with others.

What is the best way currently to save them in L4 to make them searchable by topic and/or scripture they apply to?  Ideally, they would show up in my Passage Guide on the passage I am studying.

In L3 I used Sermon add-in, but currently it is not available. Is it still the best option, or does L4 provide better choices?

You can attach them to the scripture references they are relevant for, and then they will show up under "My Content" when you do a Passage Guide.

Notes are free-form formattable text, so you can paste in whatever quotes you like from whatever source.

If you have some that are not specific to any particular Scripture reference, you can put them in a generic notes file. They won't show up in a Passage Guide search, but you can at least have easy access to them from within Logos, and you can use the Find feature in the Notes panel (Ctrl+F) to find all the quotes mentioning a particular word or phrase. So set up your quotes using keywords for ease of finding later. Here's an example of how you might do this. Note that I've used the Title field for the source of the quote. And in one of them I've added a couple of keywords that don't appear in the quote itself but which I'd want to be able to use to find that quote again.
