Wondered if anyone in here is using a Mac Book Air to run L4 and with what kind of results? I'm leaning more towards the Mac Book Pro (waiting for their refresh) but something about the thinner more portable nature of the air is attractive.

Chris, I loaded 4.0 up on a spare MBA that I had sitting on my desk and the performance was acceptable. Personally I believe that once L4Mac reaches beta it will be a moot point as to which MB you use, but until then the added memory and horsepower available in a MBP will be appreciated because of the extra overhead that fusion/parallels adds.
Thanks for the reply Terry. I was not planning on using fusion/parallels as I didn't want to put Windows on the system. I wondered if the MBA would be hearty enough to run L4 Mac on its own. I am hoping that the beta version of Mac L4 and the MBP refresh come out at the same time. Although a sweet deal on a high end C2D might be more tempting then what a MBP refresh might offer. For know, I'm making due with L3 on an old Dell with my L4 resources integrated into L3.

Definitely enough power to run it natively, especially if you opt for the SSD drive option. I like the MBA, the are sweet little machines.
There was a link posted here which indicated MBA was to be refreshed too.
I bought a messenger bag for a 15" Pro and this is what I'll probably get. Both if both portables are going to be refreshed, I'll evaluate afterwards
