Please explain Literary typing

I am trying to figure out what the Literary typing want to tell me
about.
Can someone please try to explain what Literary typing is.
Is it just a way to tag the text in different types? Is it about isagogic?

I have collected the list of values (and posted on another thread) and tried without success to find the definitions - on the forums and in Camp Logos. Can I explain what Literary Typing is? Well, not in Logos until I find the correct resources for definitions. I had assumed prior to seeing the feature that it was a step into form criticism.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Ebbe,
There is a logos page on this: http://www.logos.com/logos3/new/genrecoding
A previous discussion in which Martha provided a complete list: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/11262/88297.aspx
But, as Martha says, without definitions it is of more limited value.
