pasting Biblical Places maps into Notes

Okay, I have searched and I do not find this addressed anywhere sufficiently (I may be missing a good post on this subject).

My question is, when I bring up a map of a Biblical Place, like Assyria, and right click, it says I can copy, then I go to Notes, and I have a Paste option, so I attempt to paste and nothing happens.

Can someone direct me how to either hyperlink to the map, or paste it directly into the notes?  Either way is satisfactory for my purposes.

I have not tried this but I have tried pasting images into Notes and they do not work, so I suspect it's the same problem as maps are just images. You can see Logos' reply on this here:

The rich text editor in Notes does not support images, but rather than rejecting them when pasted, it just doesn't save them. This will be changed in 4.0c so that it doesn't allow them to be pasted.

Prez Bob Pritchett has said this on the subject, which actually shows this is not as simple as it seems, with some issues:

File size (with sync): If you take a screen capture of a modern, 32-bit color wide screen display, you get...well, a really big image. Paste that into notes, and you're using lots of storage, which we're then syncing over the Internet. And then to an iPhone. Do we shrink it? What if you edit the note on the version that has the shrunken image. Do we have to parse the note, realize that the image wasn't edited, but store the new text and keep the old large image? Etc. etc. etc.

So the good news is they are aware of the desire.  The bad news is that a solution that is consistent and robust, and doesn't bring down the servers, get compromised by bandwidth, or cause more problems on mobile phones, is not simple to imagine.  I think there is a solution here, but it will just bear some thought and collaboration with the user community.
