Incredibly cluttered

I use the Bible.logos.com site often as a quick reference and I still find it cluttered and difficult to navigate. I can only imagine how lost somebody would be when a ref-tagger link brings them into a 3-columned page where the middle column is the only column with content but it is split so that the top has the Bible and the bottom has the Easton Bible Dictionary opened up to the title page.

I don't think that Bible.logos.com as it currently stands is the "picture" that Logos wants to paint of themselves to new potential users: Cluttered, busy, difficult to use.

I admit that I don't use that site when I want to link to a passage for that very reason.  I use Crossway's ESV site because the passage stands alone and isn't surrounded by clutter.

I suppose people might find the bible.logos.com site useful for what it is, but if I'm sending someone to look at a passage, I want them to see the passage and not other stuff.

I think the sidebars and the automatic split frame need to go.

I agree that it is probably useful for some people in particular instances. But for most people who click on RefTagger, they are simply looking for the verse in context. They would be expecting a simple clean layout where the verse and its context are obvious. Plus it is the first exposure to Logos for many.

So I hope that Logos reconsiders the (default) layout of this page...

I agree...anyone consider how annoying graphic animation is on the page, when trying to read scripture? I arrived here via odb.org and really find the clutter very distracting
