How do I learn more about Jezreel?

So I'm studying in 1 Kings 21, and the action takes place in Jezreel. Naturally I'd like to know a bit more about this city. In the dark ages known as paper I'd grab a couple Bible dictionaries, find their entry for Jezreel, and read. In the L4 days, how do I do that? I already have my Bible dictionaries tagged (from the Library), so I can limit my searches to those books only.

Using search, I can search my Bible dictionaries for Jezreel. The good news is that it finds entries for Jezreel, but the "bad news" is that it also finds other entries that merely contain the word Jezreel.

Clicking "All Text" in the search box gives 3 choices: Author, Footnote Text, and Surface Text (so, there's text beneath the surface?), none of which seems useful.

How I limit my searches to only find entries for Jezreel?

The Person and Place options only seem to work with Bibles...is that because it's part of the Bible resource? or is it a design decision?

Probably a tagging issue. In the Bibles it would be tagged as a place name, so the contextual menu picks it up. In the dictionaries and other resources, it probably doesn't have that tag.

All a guess, since I had not even been aware of the Place contextual menu.

As for your search, in L4 PC when you do a search, at the top of the results it will list dictionary entries on that specific topic. The Mac version doesn't have that yet. When it is incorporated, what you want to find should be easier.

Might I suggest using the Biblical places tool from the tool menu. That is why they built it after all[:P]

Thanks for the great idea, MJ, but unfortunately "Place" does not show up on my contextual menu (nor does "Person"). I suspect it's because I've not upgraded to one of the new L4 packages. Biblical People, Places, and Things (in the tools menu) are all non-functional for me as well.

The context menu varies by translation. Of the half dozen I checked, the ESV had far more contextual options than the others. Which translation was used in the example above?
