Changing language while typing notes?

Hi all.

I've looked in the help, forums and online notes videos, but can't seem to find a solution:

I'm doing my translation work in a note, having pasted the Hebrew in. I'm wanting to type my translation between the verses, but seem to be stuck with right-to-left. Is there some way of switching languages I haven't learned yet?

Paste some English text in to get started (even just one word is all you need) and you'll have some English (L to R) to work from. You can select and type over what you pasted in if it's not what you want there. I'm sure there's a better way, but that's what I do. I'd be interested in hearing other solutions.

Actually, I found I was able to start typing in English (L to R) directly, as follows:

Copy a verse of Hebrew text from BHS
Paste into a Note
Press Enter immediately and start typing English.

Does this not work for you?

You can't click to the right side of the Hebrew text you've just typed in and start typing, because the English you type will appear at the left end of the Hebrew text (though it will be L to R). But if you're cursoring around within the Hebrew text and press End, it will get you to the beginning of the visible line of Hebrew text, at which point you can hit Enter and start a new line of English text below. It's all non-intuitive, but if you play around with it, eventually you get the hang of it.

Also if you want to switch back and forth between typing Hebrew and English text, you can install different keyboards in Windows and select them on the fly from the taskbar icon popup menu which comes up when you click on the two-letter keyboard abbreviation down there:

Hi again.

I pasted the 9 verses I'm doing this week, then was looking for a way to insert the translations (and other notes) between the lines. Pasting one verse at a time is painful

Here are instructions for how (in both XP and Vista), in case you didn't know already: http://www.conversationexchange.com/resources/keyboard-language.php. I'm guessing the Windows 7 instructions would be the same or similar as Vista.
