Update doesn't find my new resouces to download

Yesterday I received an email saying my NIV Application commentaries were ready for download and that they would be downloaded automatically...but they haven't been. So I ran both "update now" and "update resources" in the task bar but got a message saying there were no available updates. So I downloaded from the following link...http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe
and tried that but it too told me that there were no updates

My credit card has been charged, and they appear on my purchased resources list...so how do I find my downloads?

This is one of those puzzling issues. Many of us have had similar problems but usually not with the same resources or for the same download. Sometimes Update Now works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes restarting works, sometimes it doesn't.

First be sure that you don't have a small logos icon in your system tray waiting for you to clcik on it. Second, persevere. In most cases, a second, even a third Update Now or closing and re-opening Logos will trigger the download. Third, you might try 'Update Resources' which takes more time to perform but does a check of your resources on your computer against your license file on the Logos server. That might do it, too.

Thanks Mark. I have gone back and tried all of the above - I have also tried rebooting my system. I tried downloading them for logos 3 and it worked fine, but still doesn't pick it up on logos 4. I must have run the update now/update resources about 10 times each with various reboots of logos and/or my computer in between and still nothing. Hopefully this is a problem that sorts itself soon - and I will just have to keep persevering!

Cheers for the advice...and good to know it isn't just something I'm doing wrong

Whilst expected resource downloads can be unpredictable in their timing there is no need to re-install or update the software - which is precisely what this link will attempt!

I would Contact customer Services if you have not received your resources by now.

Great - thanks Dave, I will do that. That link was something I found on the forums in response to a similar query to mine, but when I ran it it just told my logos was up to date anyway.

Hopefully customer services can sort it

Be careful to interpret those suggestions in the light of your problem ie. the software (L4) is working OK but you are not getting new resources. That link has nothing to do with resources being up to date. The commands Update Now or Update Resources are the most relevant - then Customer Services as the problem is likely external to your system!
