Handbook for Hebrew Exegesis by Laniak - any thoughts?

I just got an email from Logos about a $2 discount on Timothy S. Laniak's Handbook for Hebrew Exegesis:

Apparently this is a Logos-only book; there is no paper/print version. Did anyone download it? Any thoughts about its value/usefulness (only 110 pp.). No screenshots on the Logos page.

It looks like a worthwhile resource, esp. for the low price even w/o the discount coupon. It seems to present the kind of information one is good to be regularly reminded of re: word and passage studies even if I have much of it in various other books on "how to do exegesis." *sigh* I guess this means more money out of my credit card account. [8-|]

This seems to be more of a workbook. Most of it focuses on translating the text. Each section starts with a discussion of theory, then a number of points on method (how to). After this each section takes a portion of Hebrew text and asks you to translate it. Then the author asks specifics questions about the text.

(2. v 1. What does the final -ah on the end of the word for Egypt signify? (See Ges 90c))

The last section briefly discusses the use of commentaries after your study of the text. Each section also lists other resources that can help and notes which ones are available on Logos format (for example, the UBS Handbook Series). The author suggests that it is at a second year Hebrew level and assumes a basic understanding of Hebrew. It's more of an overview than a reference.
