I decided today to purchase the background commentary on the Old Testament by Zondervan.  It is downloading now some 932mb.  Usually books are around 3 to 15 mb.  I really feel like this is a good purchase is size of the download is taken into consideration. Stick out tongue

That's a new standard of measure: MB per dollar.

The size must have something to do with one of the words in the title: 'Illustrated".

    John,

I think your purchase coincided with an additional resource drop from Logos perhaps.  I could be wrong though...

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Wow, I guess you got some extra pictures or something.  Maybe it is a different file type for L3.  I do have to say it is better than I thought it was going to be for a background commentary it has been useful so far.  Wish there were more options for this sort of commentary in Logos.

Mine downloaded at the same size as yours, John.  I haven't opened it yet today, but I have had the NT version on Pradis.  I really liked the commentary on Hebrews.  some of the other ones were "so-so."  I like all the images, nice for PowerPoint presentations.

I only got the Old Testament ones and that makes sense that my download would be smaller.  I agree that the images are perhaps the most appealing aspect of the commentary as i do a lot of my own sunday school curriculum it is nice to have ready pictures for use.  I have plenty of resources for the NT but this is a pretty good supplement for my lacking OT resources.

What resolution do the pictures come in? when you copy them out of L4 into a picture viewer or Powerpoint, what's the resolution? Nice and sharp on a big screen? 640x480? 1920x1080?
