Question regarding Zondervan Encyclopedia

So I have downloaded my new Zondervan pictorial Encyclopedia, and it is beautiful...however unlike other sets/commentaries it seems as though you have to have each volume open seperatley. I am not sure how to explain what I mean, so here it goes:

For example my Baker Dictionary set is open in one of my panes, and I can search the entire set without opening the seperate volumes, but with the ZEB if I want to look up something in say the "L" category, I have to open that volume on its own. What this means is that I have 5 volumes crowding one pane rather than just one "representative" volume.

Is there any way around this?

I know exactly what you're talking about. But I just have one volume open, volume A-C. When I say I type in letter L, it automatically changes to the L volume. At least that's how it works for me.

Why don't you try it? Open volume A. Type in say Z, and see if it changes to vol. 5.
