News for 4.0b users from Beta testers

For those of you using the Release candidate that don't want to follow beta forum posts, I thought we testers could keep you informed of future upgrades that should come in the next release candidate.
I am pleased to announce that currently the Note's Hyperlink box is working in the Beta. Soon you will be able to insert links without the assistance of a third party.

Thanks for the good news! As one who hyperlinks tons of notes and articles to the study, this will definitely set L4 up to a regular player!

Now you're stirring up trouble, Phil! Before you know it plain, ordinary, well-mannered people will be turning into 'why don't I have it now' whiners [:'(] and it will be all your fault.
It is nice to have this feature back. Wonder why it took so long?

I know that Mark's question likely was tongue in cheek, but I will answer it anyway. Logos likely took the road of taking their limited resources and putting them onto the "new" features of L4 vs. carrying over features from L3 which were the most useful. I mean...why upgrade to L4 unless you can market that it has features which L3 doesn't have. Logos won't make any money just for a format upgrade, right? You have to include all kinds of bells and whistles to wet the whistle of those chomping at the bit for the next great thing in software.
I know what appealed to me was the ability to upgrade my library significantly and way down the line was what L4's functions were; however, I did expect all that was functional in L3 would naturally be in L4. Little did I know that Logos would get too big for their britches and release a Beta to their customers. As my mom used to say, "shame on them."

I heartily agree! I feel like I've been a non-designated Beta-Tester ever since I "upgraded" . . . I too am anxious for L4 to have L3 functionality, then I can use it on a regular work basis.

I sincerely don't want to discourage the OP, but I think a more accurate title for the post would have been 'News for 4.0b beta testers from the alpha testers.' I too have felt very much like a beta tester. I just don't have the endurance to submit bug report after bug report, crash dump after crash dump (especially since most were simply ignored by Logos support), so I've pretty much put my faith in the faith that the good people here in the forums have, namely, that Logos will eventually deliver and the product will be stable and optimized (and with an actual in-program help system).

And this is productive how?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Not discouraged in the least. I have found Logos 4 to be extremely powerful, reasonably stable and a blessing to my ministry. I understand that others have a different perspective on it and thats fine. I am just very thankful for the great tool that it is and excited about the even better tool it is becoming.

Another one of those "dah" moments. For those using the Official release of 4.0b.

This is cool...Analysis view for search results.
here, i searched a custom range; mat 6 and 2 cor 6 for verbs common to both chapters...
Notice you can sort the results...Very cool! Here I sorted by lemma and then book....
That's the raw lemma list....and here is the list pared down...
