The release notes note this is a new feature.  It exists and works, but has a few problems.  The text being searched for, John 1 in this example, doesn't display, though you can set it by clicking the little triangle.  The notes say there is a grid, verses, and aligned view, but I have verses, aligned, and analysis view.  Verses works fine, analysis doesn't work at all, and aligned view displays every hit twice.  Still, it's a good start:

    James:

Analysis View does not work because it has yet to be implemented fully.

I'm reporting a bug for the disappearing citation selection area.

As for the "doubles" in the Verses view, that is a result of searching an interlinear text. Since you are searching in an Interlinear book the search is bringing over the multiple times that the individual word is displayed.  The interlinear will display the same word two times or more depending on the options selected in the book, thus multiple citations instances of the same citation in your search.

Confirmed that the multiple hits does not appear in the regular NA27.

Since you are searching in an Interlinear book the search is bringing over the multiple times that the individual word is displayed.

Well, I suppose this is a "feature," but it seems to be a rather undesired one to my way of thinking.  But maybe I'm wrong.  Can you give me an example of where it would be important to see two hits instead of just one?

it isn't useful, I'd like to see a check box..."return results for greek text only" or something like that.

I'm not trying to defend or seem apologetic about the reality of the function. I'm just explaining that it is not a bug, and is a result of the way the program works.  The goal is to mirror the features and way the Windows version works as much as possible, and if one tries your same search with the exact same variables the result will be the same.

If you do not want doubles when you search though, and want to search a Greek text I would advise searching a non-interlinear Greek text. That begs the question as to how to search a Greek text if I have no access to Greek characters as of yet. We have two solutions for that since the "g:xxx; h:xxx; a:xxx" feature that will in the future allow one to type in ancient scripts is not yet implemented in the Mac version.

    1. Copy and paste from a Greek text (i.e Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 27th Ed.).
    2. Download the Tyndale Greek and Hebrew fonts, and set those up. Then one can oscillate between English typing and Greek. After set up correctly you should see an option to use a Greek or Hebrew keyboard on the language selector at the top (it is probably an American flag, presuming your in the states, and U.S. next to the speaker icon in the tray).

I'm glad to hear everything is in order now. Don't worry about doing what I was asking earlier. I am pretty sure I have everything I need for Dev. If they need anything else I'll notify you. Otherwise, enjoy the program and your weekend.
