I am wondering about the vertical lines when one makes a selection or highlighting of text. these lines are invisible in regular text.
That is unusual. Does it happen in all resources or just the resource of your example(what is it)?
I can confirm this happening on both my Dell laptop and Acer 24" desktop screens with any resource. The screenshot was made of "twelve ordinary men" by John MacArthur.
It looks like it may be an issue with formatting/placing of characters on the screen. when there are little upperscript numbers or letters I can see lines SOMETIMES. Also, if the selection has a different starting or ending point, the lines may or may not disappear.
It is not a problem at all, I just thought it was a little odd.
