Are there any resources on sale right now that you would say are must Have?
Thanks!
In looking at the sales, I would say that the prices for the Word Biblical Commentary and the Expositor's Bible Commentary are good, solid prices. Maybe not the best price you will ever get for those, but they are both resources that are worth those prices. Personally, I consider those both "must have" resources.
Finally, rather than chasing sales, I would urge you to make a list of the resources that you want in Logos. Then, check to see if any of them are included in the different packages. Finding resources you want in the base packages is almost always the most cost effective way to get them. After maximizing the resources you get from the packages, then I would say to watch the sales like a hawk and wait for deals to come along. When you see one, snatch it up. If there are particular resources that you feel that you need to go ahead and get without waiting for a sale, I would urge you to contact sales directly and many times they will be able to shave some savings off for you - especially for the more expensive resources.
I'm not sure what you might be interested in but I picked up the following on sale this month - https://www.logos.com/product/129798/new-international-dictionary-of-theology-and-exegesis-old-and-new-testament
Hey Bruce, how do these compare to the Black dictionaries, or Anchor Yale?
Michael it is a little different because the Zondervan ones on sale are like a lexicon
As Keith said, the "New International Dictionary of Theology and Exegesis: Old and New Testament (10 vols.)" is more of a lexicon than a dictionary. Blacks is organized by books of the Bible and NIDTHE is organized by words with an emphasis on theological concepts of the Bible. Check out the video on the product page for more information.

So what similar works would the NIDTHE compare to?
I think that similar resources would include any theological dictionary. Here are links to a few old and new testament theological dictionaries:

So is TDOT the most exhaustive of the group? It is definitely the most expensive, but is it that much better than Vangameren's?
This is a good time to fill in the missing titles of this series since dynamic pricing is available.

I personally don't own the TDOT but I do own the others. Other than the TDOT is newer I'm not sure why it is so expensive at $700 given that its counterpart, the TDNT, is only $200 and both are comprised of about the same number of pages. Of course the key thing to note is that the NIDTE is 30% off now and who knows when that might happen again.

I do own TWOT, so maybe I will be alright without the NIDTE right now.
Well, Im not that impressed with the sales this month. Am I overlooking something?
From what I see there is nothng to see in the October sales - which I am fine with, I am sure others will find something of interest to them.
I am disappointed, with this being the 500th anniversary of Wittenburg, I would have thought Faithlife would have honored that some how.
Anyone see any "Must Haves" for this month? (Other than the AYB Dictionary)
