Bug: Logos 7 would not open

Description
Logos 7 graphic appears briefly but then program does not open

Steps
Click shortcut
Wait

Actual Result
Logos 7 graphic briefly appears
Goes away and nothing

System Specs
Dell Desktop | Core i3-4150 (3.50GHz) | 8 GB RAM | 64-bit operating system | Windows 8 Pro with Media Center | Norton 360

Hi Thomas - and welcome to the forums

A couple of things

As you note the log file speaks about a permission issue. Can you check if you have access to that directory / file - it could be a file permission issue.

And you are running an older version of Logos - I suggest you upgrade to the latest using the link at https://www.logos.com/install

Hi Graham,

I'm having the same problem. I spent some time on the phone with a Verbum tech support person, but then traveled for a week, and my husband recycled the notes by accident!! The Verbum tech guy recommended I contact Microsoft, and tell them something specific about when he ran the ??? the system wouldn't open up .exe files.

I purchased Verbum 6, but have Verbum 7 Basic (free) on my new HP Envy laptop.
