When using the analysis view to go through Steve Runge's excellent post today I noticed that when a "hit" begins a new verse, there is no previous context in the analysis view.
Is this by design or is the a bug?
I'm not sure, so I've reported it.
This is by design. It is like the Aligned view.

I wonder if it would be hard to have it have the same "previous context" as other search results that don't start at a verse division...
To me, verse division or not...having previous context is important....
In Next Context for the last word in the verse you might get a comma or full stop!
