Software Stolen

I actually had my software stolen this past December...I had just had my computer cleaned up and was puting my Logos back on it....I mistakenly left my laptop in my truck and that night someone threw a rock through my window and stole my laptop. Unfortunately I didn't even realize it was still in my laptop until after the police report and insurance paper work was filled out...I haven't talked to the insurance company to see if I can add it to my losses as of yet. I'm looking to see if you guys replace stolen software if I can show proof of purchase before hand...it was actually a birthday gift from my Mom so the proof of purchase would be from her. Any guidance is appreciated.

Sorry to hear of your break-in. You don't need to make a claim for Logos software, as Logos will have a record of everything you own, and you can just reinstall it all - even if you don't have the original CD/DVDs.

If you have Logos 4, then all you need to do is reinstall Logos, and log in with your existing username and password.

If you have Logos 3, then ring Customer services and ask them to send you a backup DVD (cost about $5 I think), and all your licences (they'll send these by email).

(In Logos 3 there is a small possibility some very old resources from third-parties might be missing. In Logos 4 everything will be there.)

If you properly registered you software with Logos you can download the lastest version, Logos 4, log in and all your books will download automatically for you. If you have any problems call customer support.

Well, in a way its a good thing they stole it. It's likely they did not have a bible at home and now they do...Let's hope that Exodus 20:15, Deut 5:19 come to convict them.
