Links in Exegetical Summary Series have changed
The way links work in the Exegetical Summary Series have recently changed.
Here is some example text from the ESH:
LEXICON—a. pres. act. impera. of διώκω (LN 15.158, 68.66) (BAGD 4.b. p. 201): ‘to pursue’
When you hover the cursor over the reference (ie. 15.158), you get a popup showing a snippet of LN 15.158. If you click on 15.158, the Louw-Nida resource opens up in another tab at 15.158. When you hover the cursor over the "LN", a footnote pops up showing the bibliography of the resource. If you click on the LN portion of the link, you get sort of a static pop-up window showing the same bibliography as when you cursor over the LN. The only difference is the text is larger in the static pop-up, and the resource title is a link. All of this described above is the normal functionality as before. What is different now is what happens when you click on the resource-title-link in the static pop-up.
Prior to a couple of weeks ago (when the ESS commentaries were updated), you could click on the resource-title-link in that static pop-up, and that resource would open up in a new tab. If you did not own that resource, another tab would open up stating you don't own that resource, and a link for more information at logos.com.
Now when you click on the resource-title-link in that static pop-up, you get a different footnote pop-up with the resource bibliography again, this time with three options for copying the bibliography. I can't see any reason why I would ever want to copy bibliography of another resource while I am in a ESS commentary. I am wondering if this has something to do with the complaints (and thus changes) around new tabs opening up saying you don't own a resource. However, this doesn't help me. Now, if I want to follow up with more information about a commentary from the ESS, I have to go to the command line to open the resource manually.

And we apparently pay a premium for Logos books to get a bibliography link....problem is that is not which we paid the premium. The premium was paid for the original functionality that FL has now it seems removed.
Taking away from customers what they paid for is becoming the becoming a new norm for them.
So I guess we are all due for a large refund from FL....

I am sorry you are disappointed with the change.
The Exegetical Summary Series was originally produced around 2009 and hadn't been updated since. It's a popular series and we felt that it would benefit from an update. As with any full update of any title, we bring the resource up to current production standards. This includes, but is not limited to, fixing typos, adding new links where available, if relevant populating data bases like the Bible Book Guide with new data, adding markup that allows resources to appear in the sermon section, or adding mark-up that allows a user to cite the resource by article, etc.
One of the production standards introduced after 2009 is adding Bibliographic data to all references that function as a full bibliographic citation. Generally speaking those are limited to Bibliographies and abbreviation lists--which are used to populate the abbreviations used for popups.
It seems to me that a promising improvement would be to connect the bibliographic citations to existing resource IDs where they can be matched. I don't know the development effort that would go into this endeavor but I'll begin exploring it.

As a suggestion, I would make the 1st click on a link go straight to the static footnote pop-up with the the three options for copying the bibliography. This would be more in line with how you have setup the standard in other resources. I would not think the intention was to click on a link to get a static bibliography pop-up, in which you have to click another link to get another static pop-up with the options for copying the bibliography.
