Using logos 7

Hi, I am new to logos and have some questions if anyone could help me. I have several different colors of highlights that I have applied throughout my Bible and I can't find any way to recall a specific color set. I can recall the whole grouping of highlights but I can't find a way to recall say all the blue highlights. Also when I do recall the highlights I have, it will only show the first couple words and the last couple of words. I am hoping there is a setting that will allow you to see the whole passage that you highlighted instead of a couple of words if some one could tell me how to do that.

I don't see any way of organizing files in logos either, could some one tell me how to create folders so I can organize my material. Right now all I get is a big mess of all the documents I have created, when I pull them up and I can't find any way to organize them.

Also can someone please tell me how to import media into logos. I ave several backgrounds for slides for sermons that I would like to import and I cannot find anyway of doing that.

Also in the sermon editor can some one tell me if there is an undo button there that I am not seeing? I work on a laptop usually and sometimes it will highlight stuff and then delete it before you know what happened. I have lost work a few times in this manner and an undo button is obviously very important in cases like this.

Also is there a setting to be able to have the highlights that I have done come up in all versions of the Bible that I have?

You've probably found that highlights are stored in Notes Documents.

If you set the Notes Document to "Quotes" view you will see the full text you have highlighted

And the Inline Search option can help for finding particular highlights as shown below:

Here you want to use Favorites - which allows you to create a folder structure and then drag documents and other things into it:

You do that using the Media Tool - but this is only available if you have a Logos Now subscription

There is no undo button - but Ctrl-Z / Cmd-Z should work as per https://community.logos.com/forums/t/130247.aspx

This works in some Bibles - either original language ones or those with a reverse interlinear - using the "Corresponding Notes and Highlights" feature. You access this from the resource Visual Filter menu

There is one here that I can't figure out though and that is recalling the colored highlights. I type exactly what you have in the search bar and I can't get anything to come up. I tried changing the wording a few different ways also and got the same results.

You've probably found that highlights are stored in Notes Documents.

From the Notes document, can click reference to open resource with Highlighted text. The Information Tool can show the Highlighting name for annotation(s). Personally have Information Tool set to refresh on click, so needed to click a word (e.g. God) in highlighted phrase.

Screen shot includes Information tool Highlights section showing the "Orange Highlighter" style in the "Highlighter Pens" palette was used to annotate a word (in a phrase). Searching for Highlight(s) uses the style name. This resource example has two annotation highlights with different style names. Within the resource, can use Annotation with arrows to navigate to next and previous.

FYI: Right Click on God shows word is annotated, which can be used to open Notes document. However, the Highlighter style name does not appear for annotation.
