Why is my Bible browser more complicated?

This video just popped up on my Logos homepage:

It shows a very simple Bible browser with just a few categories:

By contrast, my Bible browser looks like this:

To be honest, in the year that it's been out, I've found the Bible browser to be too complicated to use much. When I'm looking for something, too often all the facet options confuse me, and my search results end up either too broad or two narrow. I'd prefer something simpler like I see in the video--where is it?

I would say the video is out of date so to speak. Overtime more browsing options have been added to the tool.

A simple/advanced toggle would be nice, then. When I search for something and it comes up as a "Person" or "Thing" and also a "Topic", I don't know which to choose. I also don't know what a "Longacre Genre" is--nor do I particularly have a desire to learn such.

If not a toggle, then at least an updated video that will truly show me how to use the feature.

For what it's worth, we have a new (well... newer) video available here: https://soundfaith.com/logos-media/1273305-5590040-- (The video tile on the home page gets populated more or less at random, and just happened to select the old one.)

This video many more of the facets available in Bible Browser, though several more have been added in the last few months. In my opinion, this second video also does a better job of demonstrating the value of Bible Browser, with more practical examples.

Room for improvement:

On the video/training side, Bible Browser could really have a whole dedicated series; it has that much potential for practical use. But then, so could search, and layouts, and any number of other features. As always, it's just a matter of priority for what's most needed.
In the software, there are several things we could do to improve it's usability, starting with better organization of the browsable facets.

Many other suggestions have been made in other threads, and if you have more, we'd love to hear them.

Yes, please!!! Remove the old/superseded videos so they're not available, period. It can help avoid confusion.

We do for some. This "Body of Christ" video was intentionally left up because we don't yet have many Bible Browser videos, and the specific example it uses is still useful. It's old, and doesn't show many of the new facets, but not "superseded" in the sense that you can still follow the example today using exactly the same steps shown in the video.

That's not a bad idea, but one I think would take some work for us to implement. It would necessarily involve adding some way to mark videos as "older" (and the creation team being consistent about applying that marker) and modifying the feed to exclude those items. It's worth considering, thank you.
