Does Logos 7 not have spell check capability in document handouts?
I have turned on check spelling in program settings and have English selected in the document settings.
Spell check works in document notes, just not document handouts...
thanks,
Ed
Correct! Handouts will not incorporate spell checking as they are no longer being developed.
You mean the folks at Logos aren't working to develop it? I enjoy using the handouts, I use them for my Wednesday Night Bible study group. I wonder what other people use instead of handouts?

Correct. It was abandoned many years ago. It is "grandfathered in" for those who owned it previously.
Background thread from 2010 => Handout in Alpha 24??? and Logos User Voice suggestion => Add the Handout Feature in Logos for Mac! was declined on 1 Nov 2012:
The Handouts feature depends on now deprecated Windows-only technologies; at this time we do not plan to improve or continue the Handouts feature, nor do we plan to offer it on the Mac.
Sermon Editor => New Feature: Sermon Editor includes Handouts

True - but to set Edward's expectations these Handouts are not the same as the previous feature.
Faithlife Bulletins could be something to look at as an alternative - https://blog.faithlife.com/blog/2016/08/how-to-create-online-church-bulletins/
Thank you for pointing out the handout in the sermon editor. It seems to be the exact same legacy program. The Faithlife bulletin is intriguing but doesn't suit my needs. However, I am interested in the Faithlife bulletin for a different application. I would be curious to see an example of a church group using it with success.

Sermon Editor is actively being developed.
Legacy Handout was only on Windows while newer Sermon Editor (including Handout) works on Windows and Mac.
