Logos.log file has a message "too many open files" that is followed by many errors.

Force Quit Logos using Activity Monitor. Open the Applications Folder. Open the Utilities Folder. Open Activity Monitor. Select the CPU Tab. Type logos into the search bar in the top-right. Quit Logos and the Logos Indexer by Select one of the items to quit and click the X button in a rectangle in the top-left corner of Activity Monitor (do not mistake it for the red radial button that closes the window). Repeat with the next Logos process. Open Logos
Force Quit Logos using Activity Monitor.
If open Logos crashes again, please quit processes plus restart Mac before opening Logos again. Restarting Mac causes reset of open file handlers.
Explanation: macOS has an operating system limit for the number of files that can be open at the same time. Combination of files requested by Logos application plus Indexer(s) plus other application(s) could exceed macOS user limit (ulimit) of open files, which results in crash.
