Error in posting note

I made 4 attempts to post a note at Ps. 34.2. Only when I posted the note at Ps. 34:3 would it show up in 34:2! Why should I have to post a note in the NEXT verse to have it show up in the Previous verse?

I would imagine that this is a versemap issue. What Bible did you add the note to? Is it showing up in the wrong verse in the version you added it to? Frequently verse notations in the Psalms are off one between the Hebrew and the English because the prescript (i.e. A Psalm of David) is counted as verse 1 by the BHS.

Indeed, I checked two other versions ( I posted it in the nas77) and it shows up in the 3rd verse. It is posted correctly in the Nas77--- verse 2. What is the deal?

I don't have the NAS 77 so I can't confirm if it's a resource problem or specific to your machine. It's likely the versemap (which tells Logos which verses correspond to other verses in other bibles) is out of line in the NAS77 for this chapter (and perhaps all of Psalms?). I wonder if this has to do with this resource being updated to function as a Bible in Logos 4. It looks like that this should be reported as a bug.

Hi Kevin,
I have a similar problem. When I make notes in my ESV on a particular word, it only puts the yellow icon box at the beginning of the verse not on the word I'm noting. This has always been the case on my phone ap, strangely. But now it happens on my computer at home.
What can I do?
Thanks,

If you tag the note to the Reference, rather than to the Selection, this will be the result. Highlight the word, right-click and select "Selection" from the right side of the drop-down list, then enter your note. Please note that when you notate a word, the note is only visible in that Bible. When you attach the note to the Reference, the note will be available in all Bibles (and other some other references - like commentaries).

Rich, Thanks! It worked! Wow! I've never got help so quickly. I guess I had accidentally clicked selection off for a few days. Didn't even know it was there.
thx again,
Cory
