Pretty horrible typo in "God's word alone"

I'm finally able to read through the five sola's series and hit this gem....

Thanks for the report. This was a vyrso to logos update and it looks like the publisher epub that generated the Vyrso edition had the garbled text.

I checked against the print and it should read:

Huh?

Well, if you multiply that by the square root of pi and divide it by the common denominator of eternity to millionth power you’ll pretty much be able to make sense of it...NOT!!!

The question is: How does a paragraph get twisted like that and makes it out of prepub. The QC person must’ve had a bad case of parablepsis to let this one slide.

This was a Vyrso resource that was turned into a Logos Edition. The publisher provided ePub that generated the Vyrso edition had the garbled text.

So there is no QC from FL's side? We can blame the publisher for the ePub with the nonsense sequence, but it is interesting for me to realize that QC is absent from FL's perspective. Can we blame the publisher for this lack? Perhaps we can request individual publishers to do QC for FL prior to publication as Logos/Vyrso resources?

Yes there is QC. One step in the QC involves running a differential between the original files that serves as a basis for production and the final files that constitute Logos edition. Proofreading the original files is beyond the scope of our QC process.

Vincent where you not aware that QC and Vyrso only exist in the same sentence when there is a complaint about the lack of QC.

FL reading word for word every file provided to them for conversion into a Vyrso book in order to detect problems like this is never going to happen.

As to when they convert those said books to full Logos books I would hope there is a higher level of QC applied though Kyle's comment leaves me wondering if there is any in these instances. But whether FL reads word for word the text of every book they produce before releasing it as a full Logos resource or the underlying text files that might be provided to them as standard practice I do not know. It would be nice if they did, but not sure if it's practical
