Thank you all for comments and suggestions.
I'm a little gray haired lady with an old Dell Desktop running Windows XP home SP3. On June 6 2009 I was gifted the Logos Bible Study Library. Awesome! I also started the netbook thread. I now have an Acer Aspire One netbook. I also have a GigaWare USB transfer cable using EasySuite Software.
I was successful in getting libronix on the little guy, not without some teeth gnashing and tearing of garments. Not synced yet. I don't think I have the strength. I am sure I have made it more difficult than it needs to be but I am so overwhelmed with all the information available.
Now I realize how much information has been shared and am very thankful and appreciative, but goodness Geeks! I went to David Hootens site. I'm sure it is very good but it is way above my capabilities! I need milk!
And while all this has been going on, my studies have been really stalled. I have a limited amount of brain cells, and at my age limited time also! Two weeks and I have spent more time learning computer/network terminology (and failing miserably) than I have been in His Word.
Seriously thinking that cloud computing is the way to go. (except I still have to figure out how to get a wireless network going so I can get online with the netbook, UGH!) Besides the cost of the software, I have now spent almost $400 with probably quite a bit more outlay in order to do something that Logos should do easily. Get this software mobile!
I would love to see Logos team up with anyone, microsoft, netbook manufacturers, software folks, and include an EASY, inexpensive way to get our resources mobile so we can share not only an incredible resource but His Word!
Thanks folks
