Has anyone heard if they are going to come out with this Old Testament portion of the Holman commentaries? I love these books and they only have the new testament.
Many users , including myself, have been trying to get this for the longest; but since it’s been too long I went ahead and got them from another software (unfortunately) 😕 Great and practical series! 👍😁👌
Have a blessed weekend!

Got it in Accordance! Love it
Love this set. One of the best. would love to see Logos offer the OT set.
I suppose it's just not fair though to expect Faithlife to have everything.
This is true but I find it strange no one from FL (to the best of my knowledge) has ever state why this much requested series has never been pursued. I know FL cannot have everything but it is strange that some items are not gone after. This one is one of the most glaring omissions considering how often it has been requested.

You don't know that it hasn't been pursued. [;)]
Contract negotiations need to be private, and it isn't in the best interest of either the publisher nor FL to be openly talking about such matters. We, on the other hand, are free to speculate to our heart's content. [:)]
They have them in another software program. Hmmm, just might have to check it out
It is true we don’t know for certain but at least 2 other software company’s have it, FL has the NT and numerous other titles from Broadman so it would seem very odd if there was a sticking point. And it seems that unlikely that negotiations have taken over 7 years. There may be a very good reason it’s not in Logos but yes this is all just speculation.

I think the situation changed substantially after Lifeway bought QuickVerse and WordSearch in 2011. HSince Holman is part of that same SBC-Family, they now negotiate Logos contracts with an eye to keep "competition" at a distance. They will license much more through Vyrso than through Logos, for example. Some people have been told by Holman representatives that Holman does not want to see certain resources produced for Logos.
Sad if that is the case. Wordsearch is not horrible but it is a far cry from Logos or Accordance.
If you talk with Adam at WS, you can get both the old & new for $70 for the next few days.
