As I take notes from the biblical text of Exodus in the NRSV is it possible to highlight sections in different colours to reflect different sources/authors such as 'P' and 'E'
I assume you mean highlight the notes themselves. Yes, you can. Select the text you want to highlight, and click on the text color icon. From there, you can change both the text color and the background color (which would be the equivalent of highlighting).
