I L3 we can add a note to a topic (now 'headword'?). Is there a way to do this in L4?
Paul
Paul,
it seems like we can.
Right click the topic or head word, choose "selection" and then choose the note file in which to place the note....
Robert,
Thanks for the quick reply. Unless I am missing something, this is not behaving as in L3 where the note would appear in each resource with that topic head.
Are you able to duplicate this in L4?

If selection is chosen, as in the screen shot, the note applies only to the one resource. If head word is selected it will apply to all appropriate resources.

In my 4.0b sr-1, even when headword is selected, the note symbol does NOT appear in the resource (in this case Bible dictionaries) as it does in L3.

That is controlled by the visual filters (or should be):
Martha is right...possibly you have your notes turned off....
Here is a screen shot
In my filters selection box, only two entries appear for many of my Bible Dictionaries. For example, all my notes show in the filter selection list in BEB, but not in TBD or EBD.

I believe that a note file shows in the visual filter list of a resource only if there is a note that is linked to the resource. To verify that it is working correctly:
1) add a note to a headword that you know exists in several of your dictionaries
2) see if the note file now appears in the visual filters
3) there is also the possibility that some resources may not yet be tagged for headwords - unfortunately my mind has gone blank on where to check what is indexed for a resource.
