Wow! What can I do???

Well, I just do not know what to think.

About 45 minutes ago I turned on L4 and was going to do a quick search. I decided not to since it said it was indexing. I X'd out of L4 and the indexing stopped. Now comes for my question/problem.

I have tried to restart L4 and I get the little splash screen and it disappears about 1 -2 minutes later. Then my hard drive stops running and I get no error or anything. I waited for 5-7 minutes to see if anything would happen. Nothing. I have turned off the computer and turned it back on for the same behavior. I am wanting to restart so that indexing can finish.

(I thought it was done from before.) Here are some complete logs? I hope they will help.

There are some weird things happening in the logs but that HD stopping is likely the cause. Has that occurred since and does it only restart when you reboot the computer? You need to do some health checks on the HD, looking for bad sectors (eg. use chkdsk c: /R), but it would also be advisable to do a backup.

Health check on HD check...............I have shutdown a couple of times to power back up and L4 has not started. I have been able to start other programs though. I will try the chkdsk little later. I have also been gandering bout the net.
